Happy Birthday Vincent Furnier

Happy Birthday Alice Cooper
School's out
His early albums with the Alice Cooper group are rather neglected rock classics: Pretties for you, Love it to death, Killer, Schools Out and Billion dollar babies all contain some surprising and interesting material. His band are a great foil musically and as co-writers. Predominantly an album and touring group, pop hits came with School's out, No more Mr Nice guy and Elected.

Alice's last good album was the solo Welcome to my nightmare from which came the hit Only women bleed. He also appeared in some quirky film roles including John Carpenter's Prince of darkness, Mae West's final movie Sextette and Freddy's dead: the final nightmare. He recorded the theme for the James Bond movie The man with the golden gun, although the song was never used (it's not very good) the producers going with Lulu.

In 2002 John Lydon said that Killer was the greatest rock album of all time  he is also quoted as saying "I know the words to every Alice Cooper song. The fact is, if you can call what I have a musical career, it all started with me miming to I'm Eighteen on a jukebox".
King of the gothic horror stage show rock. Alice Cooper was once deemed a bad influence on the youth of America and UK. Alice was, and is, just a regular guy who likes to play golf and wear makeup.
